NatureCo is proud to have worked alongside Amplitude Energy, Center for Nature Conservation and Development, One Tree Planted, and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as well as research institutions such as CIFOR-ICRAF and Flinders University, through the Business Partnerships Platform, to explore private sector investment in nature-based carbon solutions in Vietnam.

What have we achieved?

🌍 Mapped opportunities for nature-based carbon projects in Vietnam, identifying high-quality, high-impact solutions for private sector investment

🌳 Co-developed a reforestation pilot in the Dakrong Nature Reserve, Quang Tri Province, to support Vietnam’s reforestation goals and the livelihoods of local communities. The project is currently undergoing certification with ERS – Ecosystem Restoration Standard.

🌱 Strengthened the capacity of ten grassroots organizations in nature-based carbon solutions, co-developing several initiatives now at different stages of development. We also created targeted communication materials to help these organizations engage Indigenous peoples and local communities (IPLCs) to enhance community-driven change and environmental stewardship.
