Supporting the design and delivery of large-scale nature-based carbon projects across Africa
NatureCo is excited to be supporting the design and delivery of large-scale nature-based carbon projects across Africa, with our regional team currently on a two-week trip to conduct carbon project design workshops with local partners in Tanzania and Kenya. The Africa team delivered a three-day workshop with World Vision Tanzania alongside Daniel Misson (World Vision Australia Carbon Programming and Partnerships Manager) last week, and have just arrived in Kenya for another four-day workshop with World Vision Kenya.
These workshops provide an excellent opportunity to strengthen our existing relationships with local implementation partners and draw on their critical local expertise in order to develop high-integrity carbon projects. The sessions are dynamic and collaborative, with a focus on two-way information sharing to ensure projects are designed in response to local context and needs, and ultimately provide enduring benefits for people, nature, and climate.
